We did go back to The Waterwheel, in Tra Que, for lunch but really, as far as "highlights go, that was it.
So, because the readers demand pics in blogs or the blog becomes a boring series of thoughts and observation made by an individual and by and large has little to offer the reader, I have attached a whole bunch of pics of and from our hotel.
The two pics above are as we walked along the river past "BIG HOLE 1"
The big building in the middle of the shot is La Residencia, where we stayed.

"BIG HOLE 1" had the workers sleeping on sight for a while but they seem to have moved on. Note the Coke umbrella as a parasol for the crane driver.
Panorama shot from our balcony
The red square shows the area of the The Old Town,
which is where the tourist trade is done. It's tiny but packed with lots of fun place to buy anything and everything, as long as you're prepared for the "bargain hunting song and dance" and lots of excellent eateries.
That's it for this Tuesday.
Take care and keep well.

Hotel looks good. Did it have fly screens 1 centimetre thick and enough AC to freeze a beer?
ReplyDeleteNo flies and very few mosquitoes (probably because I was with the sweet blooded Tiz. Yes she copped a few bites) so no screen.
ReplyDeleteAC everywhere was like industrial strength chillers.
